News broke today that developer of the Vancouver Ritz Carlton, The Holborn Group, has halted work temporarily on its project across from the Shangrila development on West Georgia St. and Bute while a redesign of the parkade is underway.   The project sales office will remain open in the interim according to the developer.

VANCOUVER, B.C. – September 2, 2008 – The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) reports that residential property sales in Greater Vancouver declined 42.9 per cent in September 2008 to 1,585 from the 2,776 sales recorded in September 2007.
