Architecture For Humanity

 

 The view of the world from one of Coal Harbour's luxury apartments can insulate one from considering the conditions wherein one in seven human beings lives in in poverty, many in the densely inhabited cities of the world. While we often consider "architecture" the realm of the erudite and a profession dedicated to designing somewhat flamboyant functionality for living and working, it is refreshing to find a group of designers tackling some of the issues related to poverty and homelessness around the globe by proposing basic sustainable shelter.  Visit  Architecture For Humanity's web site for more information:
